The lobby in our hotel is airy and boasts impressively generous proportions. Mostly natural materials such as wood and natural stone were used in its construction. Enormous windows provide an unimpeded view of the stunning South African landscapes which surround the hotel. The deep blue sky curves endlessly to the horizon, bordered by the imposing mountains of the Kogelberg mountain range. There, the illustriously named South African vineyards, like Blaauwklippen, have their home. The vineyards at Blaauwklippen have been producing elegant, well-balanced and prize-winning wines for 325 years now. Without a doubt, here the world is as it should be: peaceful and perfect.

It is also not far to travel to reach endlessly long, sometimes completely empty beaches. The picturesque harbour town of Hermanus is also nearby. From September, with a little luck, Southern Right Whales up to 18 m in length can be seen from the shore.
